The Lady of Justice presides over some interesting sights.

The mural on the print shop wall has been improved upon.

Even the bookshop furniture casts intellectual shadows.

 

Sparrow Books: the window has Go, Golden Eagles and an eagle scrawled in coloured soap. The sunlight is casting geometric shadows from the wrought-iron tables and chairs in front of the bookshop.

How can you resist a town so magical that it has an old jail building like this?

 

What looks suspiciously like a medieval fortress, complete with crenellated tower and cross-shaped crossbow slits, but is really a 19th-century jail now used as a 911 response centre.
